樊代明 ，男， 56 岁，中国工程院院士，肿瘤生物学国家重点实验室主任、中华消化学会主任委员、中国抗癌协会副理事长、亚太胃肠病学会常务理事兼外事委员会主席、由 104 个成员国参加的世界胃肠病大会主席、国家教育部长江学者奖励计划特聘教授，是首批国家优秀中青年人才专项基金及国家杰出青年基金的获得者。曾先后在日本东京国立癌症中心和比利时鲁汶大学作访问学者或博士后研究。

现担任 BMC Cancer 、 J Dig Dis 等 9 种杂志主编或副主编，以及 Gut and Liver 、 J Clin Gastroenterology 、 Aliment Pharmacol Ther 、 J Gastroenterol Hepatol 等 10 种杂志的编委。长期从事消化系疾病的基础及临床研究工作，特别是在胃癌发生、发展的分子机制及防治研究中做出了突出贡献： ① 首次提出了胃癌 “ 三级四步 ” 序贯预防策略，指导了胃癌预防工作的开展； ② 研制出胃癌早癌分子预警的新方法，提升了我国胃癌早期诊断的水平； ③ 发现一批与胃癌恶性生物学行为相关的分子群并研究了其调控机制，为胃癌诊治新靶点的发现奠定了基础。

先后承担国家 “863” 、 “973” 、国家攻关、国家重大新药创制、国家自然科学基金重点项目等课题。获得 2010 年 ” 973” 国家重大计划项目首席科学家资助。开发了具有我国自主知识产权的国家 I 类诊断试剂 ——“ 胃癌免疫 PCR 血清诊断试剂盒 ” 。 2008 年以第一完成人获得了迄今为止我国胃癌研究领域唯一的国家科技进步一等奖，以第一完成人获国家技术发明三等奖 1 项，还获国家科技进步二、三等奖各 1 项及省部级一等奖 4 项。主编专著 11 本。以第一作者或通讯作者在国外杂志发表论文 257 篇，发表的杂志包括 Nature Clin Pract Oncol 、 Lancet 、 JAMA 、 Ann Intern Med 、 Hepatology 、 Gut 、 PLOS Genet 、 FASEB J 、 Clin Cancer Res 、 J Biol Chem 等。应邀在 J Gastroenterol Hepatol 等 9 种国际专业杂志作特邀综述 10 篇。
